

The hands of God are clearly seen at the top of the window. “Downwardness” is the theme of this section. “Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was Incarnate by the Holy Ghost…” The reds and whites of joy and purity predominate the window.

In the middle the Logos seed, emanating the flames of the Holy Spirit of God, is thrust earthward.

Mary & Joseph stand by in awe and wonderment, cloaking the child with earthly protection and care. The shepherd’s crooks speak to the arrival of the Three Wise Men. The crowns in the upper left signify his Epiphany to the Gentiles.
