At the top is the flame of the Holy Spirit surrounding the Godhead and moving earthward within the framework of the Church.

Note the fish symbol, the top of which is formed by the head of the dove.
The hands, which seem to come down from God, represent Apostolic Ministry, i.e. – the Bishop’s hands in Confirmation and Ordination, and the Priest’s in Holy Baptism.
At the bottom are the waters of Baptism through which a person is brought into the Life of Sacramental Fellowship and is recipient of this means of Grace. The person standing within the Body of the Church represents the forgiven, redeemed child of God, dressed in white.
