Let this window speak to you of the majesty, sacrifice and love of Christ in the action of the Holy Communion.

In His hands are the upraised symbolic elements of His sacrifice for the sins of the world… the grapes (wine) of His Blood and the bread of His Body, offered up in Eucharistic Oblation. The chalice and host are positioned in the middle of the table. “This is My Body; This is My Blood which is given for you and for many for the remission of sins.”

The disciples are seated around the table barefooted since Jesus has just performed the supreme action of humility, the washing of their feet. Note Judas’ rejection as he looks away from the table, clutching a bag of money.
